Barefoot Holistic Hoof Care Services
Specialising in Whole Health Hoof Care
Allow me me help your horse to a healthy metal free life.
I discovered an alternative approach to horsemanship
As a quallified Herbalist, Equine Iridologist, Aromatherapist and Reiki Master my profession progressed as I began to seek out natural alternatives for my own horses, such as Bach flower remedies, wild herbs, homeopathy, essential oils and aromatherapy. In my research I realised I was not alone in my Natural approach .
I ventured into the wonderful world of Hoof Care because of soundness with one of my horse's named Charlie,
Charlie had remedial shoes on and it just wasn't working for him. I was not happy, not having my questions answered when his soundness was compromised.
With the newly appointed phrase Hoofmanship, the care of not only the hooves but the whole horse is paramount to me.
I’ve ventured on a whole new path demonstrating that the Natural Barefoot approach allows horses to lead their domesticated lives more holistically, the way nature intended.
The encouragement of a stress and steel free lifestyle and implemented changes to their dietary, environmental and exercise needs makes for not only happier horses but owners too.
Horses were not born with shoes on.
Why do we think that we can’t enjoy them without shoes?
Why do we believe what we are told without doing our own research?
I have travelled widely to train and study and attend workshops with many well known experts in the Hoof Care profession. I believe this has gained me a more rounded approach to hoof care management.
